This one-day class demonstrates how to work with the specific needs of pregnant women. Students will gain a deeper understanding of pregnancy anatomy, physiology, and functions during labor and birth. In this class, students will be shown new manual therapy techniques to ease pregnancy and support the function of delivery.

This 2-day course explores the developmental processes and changes that occur as we grow from a single fertilized cell to a human body. We will discern some of the general principles of life, growth and development, as illustrated by the embryo, that we can then apply to ourselves and in our interactions and treatments with clients.
Since this is part of a bodywork training, we will focus much of our attention and examples in the development of the fascial system; muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons, joints, fascia and extracellular matrix.

Join Leigh Ankrum for this exciting workshop on the respiratory and Pelvic Diaphragm. In this workshop, she explains and demonstrates how these 2 diaphragms are interconnected, and have a relationship within the body.
